This book was lovingly assembled in memory of Blaze Foley, a singer-songwriter from the 1980s Austin, Texas music scene and whose life ended in tragedy. More than 30 years later, his songs retain all of their quality, charm and relevance. His friends include music greats like Townes van Zandt, Calvin Russell, Gurf Morlix and Lucinda Williams, to name but a few.

Blaze could not tolerate injustice, whether on the national level or among the people he hung out with. His final attempt to right a wrong end tragically in February, 1989 when a single shot from a rifle ended his life.
